GunVault's MicroVault XL features 18-gauge steel construction, and precise fittings that are virtually impossible to pry open with hand tools. The high-strength lock mechanism performs reliably time after time. It has a protective foam-lined interior, and a convenient elastic strap with pockets for extra storage. The MicroVault XL is powered by one 9v battery (not included). It includes a backup key and is California DOJ Approved. This XL model (MV1000) features electronic keypad entry, a mute button, and can handle millions of user-selected access codes. It has a tamper indicator, and the built-in computer blocks access after repeated invalid keypad entries. Interior dimensions of 2.5" x 8" x 11.5" fit most tablets or e-readers and many different handgun models.
